Familiar Training

Iris
Bibi! I got a small, adorable companion while gathering materials by chance! Apparently, you can obtain one at a certain probability while using skills.

Bibi
Oh? You already found yourself a decent familiar? Lucky you. But it's still too weak to be much help right away.

Iris
Hmm, then what do I need to do to make this little one stronger so it can help me on my adventures?

Bibi
Spend some time training your companion with the Familiar Training skill. The more you train it, the higher its level becomes, and it'll start granting you very useful passive buffs.

Iris
Heh, then I guess I'd better put it through some intense training so it can make my life easier!
