Cartography

Chart regional maps to unlock new destinations. Successfully charting a map opens up locked areas and grants a Cartography skill XP bonus for the unlocked map entry.

Cartography

Iris
Every time I head out to explore, I get confused by the paths and waste time... and it's dangerous not knowing where monsters might jump out from.

Bibi
That's why smart adventurers use the Cartography skill. You spend time carefully drawing and recording maps of the areas you explore.

Iris
If I draw a map, can I see confusing routes more clearly and even unlock hidden new paths?

Bibi
Exactly! Completing a map lets you move into new areas that were previously blocked off. And if you keep mapping places you've already unlocked, your Cartography skill experience rises much faster too.

Iris
Ah, I get it! First I should open up new routes, then keep refining maps in unlocked areas to level the skill up in no time. I'd better grab my parchment and quill right away!
